Dushyant Padia is a young electronics engineer aspiring to push the boundaries of space.Dushant enjoys instrumentation and automation projects. He has significant experience in designing and prototyping new electronic products. While working for the Science City in Gandhinagar (India), he led the design and implementation of science exhibits and was the technical lead for the IMAX-3D Theatre. Dushyant has also worked as a Visiting Faculty at the National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad (India) where he lent his technical expertise to the New Media and User-Interface Design department. He has also worked for Digital Force, a special effects company in Hyderabad (India) where he prototyped a computer interfaced Camera Control System for special effects in movies. The project included both hardware and software development.
Dushyant has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a post-graduate degree in Management from Gujarat University in India. He also has a Master’s degree in Space Studies from the International Space University (ISU) in France. While at ISU, Dushyant interned as a systems engineer for Active Space Technologies in Coimbra (Portugal).
Dushyant enjoys amateur HAM Radio and Rocketry. He believes in contributing to humanitarian endeavours and likes to volunteer as a social worker during natural disasters. |
