Antrix Corporation, the commercial arm of Department of Space (DOS) was incorporated in September 1992 for the promotion and commercial exploration of products and services from the Indian Space Program.
Antrix markets space products and services to global customers, based on an impressive array of achievements and developments over past four decades in Indian space program. Products and services include, among others:
Launch Services, Satellite Fabrication, Ground Station Services, Mission Support Services, Spacecraft Testing, Transponder Leasing, and Earth Imaging Products.
Antrix’s pre-audit revenues for fiscal year 2007-08 stood at INR 940 crore (US$ 180 Million, as of March 2009), with profits post-tax touching INR 169 crore (US$ 33 Million, as of March 2009). These revenue and profit numbers were up 42% and 60% respectively, compared to the previous fiscal year.
